3 Ways to Know If A Website Is Running on Blogger

Blogger, although not as powerful and flexible as Wordpress, still remains a great blogging platform. So, maybe you  bumped into a website and you want to know  for sure if the site  is using the Blogger engine and probably what template/theme the site uses.

It's quite easy to get to know  that,  just follow any of the below methods.

    Mobile URL Attachment

This  requires  a mobile phone. Supposing you do not browse with a mobile phone, then you need to be able to resize your screen on your computer's browser. To know if a site is running on Blogger, simply check the URL of the website in your browser's address bar.  If there is an "?m=1" attached at the end of the URL, then the website is running on Blogger.
For example: check the URL of this page, you should see https://www.blognet.com.ng/2020/06/3-ways-to-know-if-website-is-running.html?m=1.

    The Page URL Format

Every page on a site running on the Blogger platform has a unique pattern of page(not blog posts)  URLs.  On the website,  open any of the pages(not categories or blog posts).Maybe for instance, the "About Us" or "Contact Us" page( The links are usually located at the footer).  After loading the page, quickly check your browser's address bar. If the URL is of the form: https://example.org/p/contact-us.html , then it is evidently a Blogger-powered website. Note the /p/, as it must contain that.

    The Blog Posts

Blog posts of websites running  on the Blogger engine have dates attached to their post URL. By this I mean the  year and month.
For example, check the URL of this post aso seen in method 1, you would notice the "/2020/06" attached to it.  This means that the article was first written in June 2020.
